Detailed Daily Itinerary
Saturday, September 24, 2016 – Meet up with your Triple Crown Travel tour host at our Downtown River North Chicago hotel, before we make our way to Wrigley Field for the game between NL Central rivals the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs. The baseball atmosphere at Wrigley is always awesome and this rivalry game will surely be intense. A game at Wrigley is the perfect start to your MLB baseball vacation package with Triple Crown Travel. After the game we will head back to our downtown upscale hotel which will be our home for the next three nights.
Sunday, September 25, 2016 – Sunday morning we will make our way up to Milwaukee to watch the Cincinnati Reds take on the Brewers at beautiful Miller Park. The roof should be open for what will be a great afternoon ballgame between these National League foes. After the game you will have plenty of time to take advantage of your free evening in Chicago.
Monday, September 26, 2016 – We start this day off with a Chicago River Architecture Boat Tour. There are no better views of the city than from a Wendella Cruise boat as we head up the Chicago River and enjoy the narrated tour hosted by an architectural expert. We then head out to Lake Michigan for an amazing view of the Chicago sightline and more history of this fine city. After the boat tour, enjoy a fine lunch in the city or do more sightseeing before we head over to the south side of Chicago to watch the White Sox host the Tampa Bay Rays. Once again we will return to our deluxe downtown hotel for our final night in Chicago.
Tuesday, September 27, 2016 – Next up on this Triple Crown Travel Baseball Tour, will be St. Louis. Our downtown St. Louis hotel puts us right in the middle of all of the action just minutes from Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals. The Cincinnati Reds are in town to take on the Cardinals and we will be right in the middle of all of the action from our prime group seats.
Wednesday, September 28, 2016 – After leaving St. Louis, we head to Kansas City as the Royals look to build upon their recent success with hopes of returning to the playoffs. Kauffman Stadium is the perfect backdrop to end our Chicago Midwest Baseball Tour. This picturesque stadium is a sight to behold and the fans should be out in full force as the Royals host the Minnesota Twins in what will likely be a pivotal AL Central battle.
